Day Out

Finally back on to blogging, and recently, even if I have posted recently, they are all sad and short ones. And it's not necessarily because I have no time, but it's more of because I just don't have the energy and motivation to do anything thanks to school. Weird or not, each school day feels longer and longer, and my motivation for it falls rapidly. But anyways, enough of that, few weeks ago, on Sunday, finally met up with The Stayover group, and it has been quite a while since I saw them, that's cause XY got exams and finally it's over! So was suppose to meet them at 2 or 2+. And the weather that day was crazy hot, I cannot bring myself to leave the house, so well done, reached only at 3+. Met them at scape since Jane wanted to buy a pair of shoe there, and sadly it was closed. I just reached and then Jane said we have to go to Bedok cause her mum asked her to buy something there. Wasted, should have just gone bedok lah! HAHAHA. But anyways, that days weather is ratchet as fuck, cause the afternoon was hot and sunny until I couldn't leave the house, and on the train towards Bedok, it started to rain! And the rain gets worse and worse. And when we finally reach Bedok, the rain was CRAZY. On top of that, there's no bus to bedok point. So we had to manoeuvre around in sheltered area to finally reach the place. We thought we could only buy the item there since there was an event there. As soon as we enter the mall, we hear the host say

'You can buy this at all Popular Bookstores'

HAHAHAH, like so sad, all that travelling when we can buy it at Popular bookstores all over the country. Once we're done in Bedok, we walked our way back to the train station, and around that time, the rain stopped. And if you know, after it rains, it gets so damn humid and irritating and I'm started to sweat again, FML. But after that, we took the train to City Hall since Jane is collecting some Korean Magazine there. And went to get drinks while waiting for the supplier to arrive. And OMFG, korean magazines are fucking crazy thick! Like the cosmopolitan magazines here are like normal, but theirs is so THICK AND HEAVY, so mind fucked. Once we're done with the magazines, walked thru' citylink and ate at Quiznos. And THE SERVICE IS SO FUCKING TERRIBLE. And it's not the first time already.

QUIZNOS SUB HAS TERRIBLE SERVICE.

Firstly, we have to wait for our order for so long, and after we order, no one was preparing the sandwiches. And Jane ordered a Salad, and one of the staff stood there and do NOTHING, until 15 minutes later. Furthermore, after us, not many people ordered, the cashier just stood there and TALK TO THE OTHER STAFF. Woahhh CMI. But, the only compensation is that their subs are not bad, like its quite nice tbh. While we're there, there's this group of people, adults some more, made so much noise it's so fucking irritating. Like STFU.

 CASUALLY LOOKING NICE

After dinner, went to take the train back to somerset to see if the shop was open. And for some reason, we were talking and talking until when we got out of the train, we miss not only somerset, but orchard as well, then at Newton. FUCKING FUNNY cause none of us felt the train stop at all. SO trained back, and the shop was still closed. So sad. Walked to ion and bought a shirt and stuff from H&M, and I think it's the last time I'm going there, cause tho' things were cheap, can no longer find something nice. And finally, took the train home. And on the train, if you've read my previous post, you'll know how I felt like time passed so fast, all of us were at different places in our lives. But hopefully I'll see them soon, can't wait for the next Stayover!

Tuesday 22 October 2013

So its 22nd today, now. And unknown to me, 8 days has passed without me even knowing. Time passes slow, yet fast at the same time, two days ago, I was out with TheStayover group, which I'll talk about next post. While we were on the way back, on the way back, I looked at all of us and realised how quick time has passed us. Not how quick that day was, but how quick time, time, as in ages and secondary school passed. All of us were in different schools, and we no longer live the same almost parallel lives we had, no more waking up and looking forward to school just to see them. There was no more of that. Secondary school was 4 long years, but now thinking and looking back, it felt so quick, like it was all just a blur. And despite my constant laments on how quick time is, I realise that in classes, I feel as if time goes by very slowly. The sense of time is no longer sensible for me, I lose track of it, and when I finally caught up with it, I realise that I've been out of focus way way too much.

First Day Of School

It's 5.24 now, and official classes just ended. So today was the first day of school, and to be frank, I hated it. It's just horrendous. First lesson was ok, I mean it's still morning, what's so bad about it, and then, as time pass, I feel more and more foreign to the place, school. I feel like it's the first day of school, school. All I want to do is go home and live in the four walls known as my room. The second lesson was boring, 3 hours of the lecturer talking, and I was catching nothing. NOTHING AT ALL. And my patience and tired-ness declines as staggering pace. To top it off, everyone, technically can leave at 5pm and go home to rest and enjoy life because it's a holiday tomorrow. But no, I had to choose an additional program which goes from 6 - 9 pm, every MONDAY. Every monday, is this real? I don't know if I can go on like this, and I am prepared to quit it if I didn't enjoy it later.

I don't know if it's just me, but my class is just weirder than ever. It's more separate, more segregation, and it just isn't even a class. How can anyone do it for 3 years. As close as I can get to anyone, it's still weird. Funny how I felt very at home and comfortable when I was in NYP and I was there only 2 days. But when it comes to now, I've been with the class 5 -6 months and it still feels as awkward as ever. If anything, I wished I didn't do so well for 'O' levels, if anything I wished I didn't choose to transfer back, if anything. My choices till now, are mistakes.

Picnic

So, after months, and literally, months! I finally met up with my darlings, a.k.a NYP classmates, and words cannot express how much I missed them, and if anything, so lucky to have met them. So, decided to go for a picnic, and at first I was a bit apprehensive, because having went picnic a few times in secondary school, and none, NONE of which were successful LAH SIAL, let me tell you why they were all failures. A PICNIC, is where you seat down, and everyone brings food so we feast on everyone else's food, right? In secondary school, everyone will plan lah, like ok, this bring this, the other bring cutlery, then get all excited, and the on the actual day, fuckers will be lazy as hell and don't prepare anything, and 10 minutes before meeting up, go to the supermarkets and buy potato chips and drinks, and for the 4 fucking hours, all we'll be eating are chips and drinks. Cutlery for what, eat the grass and sand nearby is it, so if this is how picnics are, don't even bother please. But LUCKILY FOR THIS TIME, it was a picnic with abundance of food, OMG, super happy, and when everything seemed so perfect, the weather isn't. The morning when I woke up, the weather was like really nice, wasn't hot, really cool and sky was cloudy/sunny but not hot, fell in love with the weather that day.

AND THEN, things just went downhill as time passes, at 3, met up with my Sassi bitches, also known as, Syaffy, Tasmin, Q & Hilmi, and the moment we were walking towards the bus-stop to Sembawang park, it started TO RAIN. IT FUCKING RAINED. Going for a picnic, the worst thing is either super hot, or super rainy. Rainy was better than hot lah IMO. BUT, the funniest thing was the nearer we were towards the bus-stop, the heavier the rain got. Then I was damn frustrated cause I wanted to wear my trademark outfit sweats, but I thought the weather would be hot, so I wore a thin shirt and shorts, and I was freezing my goddamn ass off, and by the time we reached the park, the rain maintained abit ah, so we managed to find a shelter to settle down, which wasn't hard to find, since c'mon, it was raining, it was showering cats and dogs (proud english moment) and lightning and thunder were going at it.

So we settled down, and by the time, the rain wasn't that bad, but the wind was cold and strong. And since Q's birthday passed not long ago, we celebrated for her.

Once we're done cutting the cake and ate it, we went to ate actual food, so syaffy made pasta, which tasted really good, and she was so stressed cos she cooked the pasta for too long and it became 'Mee Goreng'. AHAHAHAHAH. Hilmi made fried chicken and mash, Q made Cupcakes and brought chips, and Tasmin brought drinks and she brought a lot! She brought lemon tea, lemon green tea, juice, milo, milk, and more I think? So poor thing, cause it was so heavy! As for me, I brought brownies, cause I couldn't think of anything else to make, and I simply have to energy to start cooking, so baking, solve the problem. And I dk why the weather is crazy, like periodically, the rain would blow up and with the wind the water actually splashed into the shelter. WTF. So basically caught up on recent times, and gossiped, overall, was great. They are the funniest people I swear, I was laughing so hard throughout, ok lah, we talked about alot of things, but given my failing memory, I can't actually remember. OH YA, and one more thing that is so fucking funny I can't, is that whenever someone says something funny, they'll say 'Actually it's quite funny'. And every sentence starts with the word 'actually'. HhHAHAHA. And time passes so quick when you're having a good time, it does!

Tasmin was telling us this funny thing that happened at home, Tasmin's dad was down with a flu or something, so technincally Tasmin was the only one who tended to him, so this conversation happened in her house.

Tasmin's Dad: Tasmin is the only who cares about me in this house, after I die, I'll give Tasmin all my properties.
Tasmin's Mum: But you don't have properties what, for what you say?

Ok lah, so that wasn't the exact thing they said, but I'm sure you got the gist of it, and if you don't, NOT MY PROBLEM LAH SIAL. Before we left, obviously, we had to take photographs, so here they are!

Can we please appreciate my editing skill?! It's so HIMYM-ish. And all that I'm doing is self-praise

After we're done packing up, we went back, and Tasmin was super nice enough to cab us all home, so super nice of her lah. And that's pretty much the whole day, really fun, enjoyed myself, and then I have to remember that school's starting in like, 1 weeks or less, and that all good and fun things, must come to an end. Ughh, the mere thought of it really is gonna put me off already. But, that's #LIFE. Look forward to seeing them again!

p.s My new timetable is out, and it is so irritating. FML. Why must school be like that, on top of the boring modules, I just got to have classmates who are not interesting, boring, and to top it off, not fun nor are they enthusiastic about what they do. OMG, some I'm sure will be those get good GPA, but forever boring and alone in life. Well, I just described me haven't I? There are too many that are far worst actually.
